Examples of Our Work with State Administration
The Government of Chhattisgarh has been working towards integrating quality solutions built on sound empirical evidence to public service delivery in the state. To this end, the government has partnered with the Swaniti Initiative in order to recruit competent individuals who are capable and driven to produce the desirable results. 42 young and dynamic individuals have been recruited as the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellows (CMGGF) for a period of two years and their services have been distributed across the 27 districts and 12 state departments, apart from two placed at the Honourable CM’s office and one in the Chief Secretary’s office. Over their tenure, the CMGG Fellows will strive towards delivering good governance solutions, which mainly focus on impact assessment and citizen reactions.
The LEAD Program aims to strengthen the governance systems by working directly with district administrators on flagship programs through the presence of on-ground Associates. The program allows young professionals a chance to strategise and implement key development activities in a district. The Associates work directly with a District Collector, attaining valuable guidance and mentorship. The Associates are provided knowledge support and supervision by Swaniti Initiative. Learn More
